Recently, students have shown less interest in cultural activities. What was once a vibrant tapestry of shared experiences is now unraveling, creating a feeling of disconnection and apathy. This trend, known as “Cultural Drift,” is influenced by various societal, technological, and educational factors that together lead to a decreased enthusiasm for exploring different cultures.
The goal of hosting an “English in Action” event is to create a lively platform where people can learn English while celebrating and preserving their local culture. By incorporating English into cultural activities, the event aims to achieve two things: help participants understand the intricacies of the language and provide a space for exploring and embracing their own cultural heritage.
